Thanks Pietro. We generally use dynamic views for our day-to-day development but we have the option of using the snapshot views as well for OpenGrok. Space shouldn't be an issue.
I think you missed sending me the script ... can you please resend it. Dynamic views are slower and harder to setup, but they don't consume so much disk space. I suggest to use snapshots views and update them before running indexer unless you are limited by space. To turn on clearcase support you have to pass following variable (with valid path to cleartool) to indexer: -Dorg.opensolaris.opengrok.history.ClearCase=/opt/rational/clearcase/linux_x86/bin/cleartool I attach script updating indexes (it's a bit too complex as we use dynamic views and lot's of vobs). -- Cheers, Petr Sobotka aka Pietro 2012/6/7 Sharad Singla <ssin...@sandvine.com<mailto:ssin...@sandvine.com>> Hi I am trying to setup OpenGrok for my project. We use ClearCase as our SCM. Can anybody help me with the steps to do so? If there's a documentation pointer, please let me know.
