Hi All,

I wonder if you could advise me if GnuGK can do anything about the below
problem.

I have a Cisco 45xx MCU and a Cisco TCS (Content Server) registered to my GnuGK
3.0.2. MCU is registered as a gateway, TCS as a terminal. I use routed
signalling, but H.245 is not routed.

When starting an MCU conference recording with TCS H.239 channel is not
established for all call scenarios and seemingly it depends on calling alias or
IP or enabling/disabling GnuGK registration. Here are my scenarios:

Both MCU and TCS is registered to GnuGK:

Call from MCU to TCS:
- I call IP address: H.239: on
- I call TCS alias: H.239: off

Call from TCS to MCU:
- I call IP address: H.239: off
- I call alias: H.239: off

Then I remove TCS from my gatekeeper and repeat the calls. This happens:

Call from TCS to MCU:
H.239: on

Call from MCU to TCS:
H.239: on

This is somewhat strange to me, as the gatekeeper should not do anything with
H.239 channel that is set up between the two remote parties directly...

I wonder if I could check anything on GnuGK side. I also opened a support
ticket at Cisco.

Thanks.

Best regards,
Andras Kovacs
