Long-Term Care Software

Is there anyone interested in developing open-source long-term care
software for use by retirement communities and nursing homes (particularly
non-profits)?  The current selection of commercial LTC software tends to
lag behind the state of the art and also doesn't seem to meet all needs,
and my thinking is that an easily customizable open-source product based
on client-server technology would be ideal.  What do others think?
