* Regarding other languages there is Cincom Corba implementation available
for Smalltalk-80 with non commercial license on Linux/Windows/MacOS
and several Un*x platforms. This software comes with all sources and
documentation.

DS has been developed at H-P.  It comes with a cooperative environment
demonstrating how to share and move objects such as Forum, Tables,
Charts, Multimedia information.  There is a short introduction to DS in
Siegel book on Corba.

VisualAge works on RMI that are stated to be more efficient that full
Corba services. Demo versions available on CDRom.
