Looks good to me.
Looing at the GNU Privacy Guard, GNUPG or gpg, which I have on a Linux
server here, it offers that as one of the hashes.
It seems to be fairly straightforward, although it is going to take a
bit of Python to make it as easy to use as PGP with Outlook Express,
but it seems likely to be more stable from the outset.
