I am a long time lurker, first time poster. As a medical informatics graduate
student, I've been following the postings on this listserv and wrote a paper for my
"introduction to informatics" course called, "How the Open-Source Development Model
Can Improve Medical Software."

I would very much appreciate comments and suggestions on improving this paper from
anyone on this list. Also, most of my important references come from people who
contribute here, and any ideas I have had probably relate back to something someone
