Hi Todd,

Perhaps I am not communicating this well but my intentions are to help Minoru and
Spirit become successful. I have been very disappointed with their responses so far
and I fear that Ignacio may be right. I do not have any dealings with Minoru except
through this list and if they should fail, that will really adversely impact the
dissemination of the OIO project :-(. That is what I am trying to prevent.

When Ignacio Valdes came to me with his worries (that Minoru will be encrouching
upon his turf), I told him that competition is a good thing. He told me that they
won't even talk to him about collaboration. I listened but thought that highly
improbable. Minoru's website talks about fostering community and collaboration, why
would they refuse to discuss collaboration with Ignacio?
Dave said Minoru is not secretive. Let's see what we know after so many
back-and-forth messages: (my original two questions)
1. are you going to make a proprietary database
of projects?
2. Is Minoru going to offer syndication of the projects database to LinuxMedNews
and other interesed sites?

These sound like yes/no questions to me but I still cannot determine whether Minoru
said yes or no. :-(
Maybe I am just not good at understanding business talk?

You tell me whether they are secretive or not. If they don't know the answers to my
questions, they could have said "We don't know" at anytime. Or, "This is company
secret". There is nothing intrisically wrong with keeping company secrets. The problem
is that they are unwilling to admit that.

It bothers me much and drove me to write messages that are too long because I had very
high hopes for Minoru.

Sorry if I offended you (and others) with my expression of hostility - it comes from
the deep pain of betrayal that I feel in my heart,

Andrew
