Howdy! This is the last day to submit nominations to the Open Source
Medical Achievement Award. Don't be shy, nominate yourself or a
deserving person by writing a one page e-mail for a worthy recipient.
The winner need not be present to win. I've just officially heard from
AMIA that the presentation of the award is on again for right after the
open source panel session November 5th, I just have to clearly say that
it is not AMIA sponsored. Despite this, AMIA has offered to cover it in
their post-conference newsletter and generally have been making
positive noises about the award being given at the conference.
