Thanks for the link Eric. That page compares compliance for HTML 4.0 features between various browsers. Judging from the number of items maked compliant or not, that page appears to confirm my previous belief that Mozilla based browsers, not IE, have the best conformance to web standards. One interesting quote from that page from the first note below the feature comparison table:
