I think that constructive activity can take place between any GP attempting to use the code and any existing project who would like to cross fertilize ideas back and forth. That would actually be a good demonstration of the openness of the project.
The main thing is to engage constructively with AAFP in order to maximise the benefit of the final product to everyone, not just AAFP members. We can all do this, but I suspect that US subscribers to this list may be more effective in such engagement.
