What Horst is offering is generous, practical and would also facilitate better synergy with OSHCA. There is a definite need for better "tools" besides list servers. But focusing on the short term, Horst is offering the foundation for a solution that can evolve from a simple listserver like the one we have now to a more effective infrastructure. Thank you Horst.

No problem. oshca.net is already hosted on one of my servers, and it runs Zope, Plone, Postnuke already. Since I own this server (colocated at a data centre) we can do with it (and other servers I own) whatever we like. We had some teething problem on this particular server initially (first too many admins, then a hardware fault) but it has been running nicely now for the last fortnight, and it has a huge capacity. Since my oldest colocated root server has now been running with zero downtime since 1.5 years, I believe the one hosing oshca.net should perform similarly once properly set up.
