Hi All,

A note about simple economics.

A viable approach worldwide is to support people attempting to help themselves. This
applies to Healthcare.

A recent documentary about Viet Nam showed that since the end of the war in the delta
the government and farmers have developed their infrastructure so that instead of the
previous 'single' harvest per year they are now achieving 'three' harvests per year.

The documentary was aired on an Asia news program and is very interesting because
it occurred in the absence of major support from certain countries. Little publicized it
reminds me of the UN program for loans to mostly women in small villages that has
been much and is commendable.

Extrapolating into the future, with access to suitable global IT the same regions can,
with help from others build adaptable Healthcare systems. Local health and economy
are basic requirements and rights. As in Viet Nam, the space, tools and support can
go a long way.

My family (liberal New England Republicans) were fond of saying you can sell
kitchen appliances to other countries if they are prosperous and have kitchens. At
some point I switched to believing that.

Regards!
