Besides wanting to promote local business (in which I have no ownership, or contact), I wanted to present an opportunity to OSHCA developers and users. This seems to be a company that is willing to take other organizations products and install them. Beyond the software stack that was identified, I have no idea what other products they use in their solution. Instead of weighing in with the benefits or liabilities of one product or another, I thought that someone might have jumped at the opportunity to invite them to participate in the discussion. Maybe they have insight into why FOSS isn't the first choice. I don't know them and feel it would be inappropriate for me to initiate contact with them for this group. And I don't think anyone has a sufficiently thick skin to participate in the dialogs that are entertained here without a warning about our sometimes (im)personal flames. I believe that in order to increase the uptake of FOSS, you will need a few entrepreneurs who are willing to make a living supporting your free products. Here is one. Now what should you do?
