We've also been working on similar problems, including proposals to get VistA working into remote areas of South Africa.

We're currently set up to deliver broadband infrastructure via satellite and computers with systems with nothing more than a generator for clean power. I'm in the process of trying to confirm the availability of a satellite in the sky that could be used from South Africa.

Happy to serve as a point of coordination for similar efforts.
