We're currently set up to deliver broadband infrastructure via satellite and computers with systems with nothing more than a generator for clean power. I'm in the process of trying to confirm the availability of a satellite in the sky that could be used from South Africa.

I suspect that pencil and paper may be the most appropriate technology what with power and so on, but I know we have actual experience avialable here and I'd be grateful for pointers and advice to relay on what has tended to be useful, how to work such systems in simpler conditions and so on.
I do have a line back for further and better details, but is that a starter?
