The OpenHRE project features Dave's code optimised for this type of records exchange. OpenEMed is the raw open source code base. OpenHRE adds to OpenEMed a front end and connectivity to legacy HIT systems in the exact environment described earlier. We're working directly with Dave. There are two funded projects contributing to OpenHRE, one from HRSA one from AHRQ. Check it out at:
