-----Original Message----- From: Richard Schilling [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, January 26, 2005 3:38 PM To: [email protected]; [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [email protected] Subject: Software useful for the National Health Information Infrastructure (NHIN) It's been a while since I've posted - I've been wrapped up in some open source software development since late last summer. I'm compiling a list to publish on the internet of open source software that will be useful for people using and/or implementing the NHIN. See www.hhs.gov/healthit and www.hhs.gov/healthit/rfi.html for more information on the NHIN. If you would like a project to be considered for the list please send me an e-mail with the product name and website link to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . It doesn't have to be your project to be considered for the list. I'm looking for everything: databases, accounting systems, integration engines, interoperability tools, medical records systems, security frameworks, desktop applications (e.g. word processors) and anything in between. Anything that implements well known standards are of particular interest - please identify the particular standards when submitting. VistA and a few others are already part of the list, as well as those identified www.hhs.gov/healthit/federalprojectlist.html .
