It's interesting that the discussion of this article occurred last week on the Nursing Informatics lists I belong to.
Most comments were centered on how the study was poorly designed. :-)
I did see a couple of comments on how Nurses have been involved in implementations, noted problems like this article mentions and apparently were not listened too.
