I was pointing out that all of the following work in Firefox, and that you are taken to the correct Web sites. None of the following are, in fact, valid URLs eg "mirrormed" is NOT a domain name. Thus it is unexpected behaviour, but explicable because Firefox just sends invalid URLs to Google and redirects to the the top link which Google returns.
