Run in one shell window:
OPENHPI_DEBUG=YES /usr/local/sbin/openhpid -c /etc/openhpi/openhpi.conf -f
openhpid.pid -n -v
In another shell, run one of the clients.
Give us the output of both windows if the client cannot connect to the
daemon.
