RE: [Openhpi-devel] Installation Issue

Hi,
We are installing snmp-subagent on a server that’s Mullins (Intel name)
box.

We made changes in the snmpd.conf file, and tried starting hpisubagent(in
the directory bin) and the openhpi-subagent( in the directory etc/init.d).

When we put the command “./openhpi-subagent start” it takes around
15mins(and the beginning statement we get is “we are here Starting up HPI
SNMP sub-agent daemon:”) .

Where as starting hpisubagent goes in an infinite loop, and get the output
as below.

Please let me know if you need any other info.

Thanks
-Amit

What do you mean it takes 15 mins to start? What exactly are you
experiencing?
What system are you using? What OpenHPI plugin?
