thank you very much for your quick reply.

I've applied the patch to OpenHPI 2.10.0 and it "almost" seems to fix the 
issue, please see attached file:

When I start openhpid and run hpitop, I will see the correct topology 
immediately after the initial discovery.

However when I run hpitop (or some other tool, e.g. hpiview) for a second time, 
the FRUs have vanished again.
