Elaborating on Peter's answer (which is completely correct), it seems
that you are hoping for a yes/no answer. If so, the situation is not
(and will never be) that simple.

Most devices do not provide all the capability included in the HPI
specification. Therefore, there will probably always be some HPI calls
that will return SA_ERR_HPI_CAPABILITY.

On top of this, different OpenHPI plugins may be in different stages of
development and/or support. There may be capabilities that are possible
with a particular device, but nobody has made the effort to implement
them. Of course, patches and other contributions are always welcome, so
if something is missing that you need, please implement it.

My point is that there will probably never be a simple "yes" answer to
that question, at least across all the plug-ins and all the hardware
that OpenHPI supports. On the other hand, strictly speaking, OpenHPI
already supports B.02.01 today. As allowed by the HPI specification,
some of the HPI calls return SA_ERR_HPI_CAPABILITY, and this will always
be the case.

Hopefully this helps...

Bryan
