Yes the patch can be made. However it would require some work time and
resources.
Which, I afraid, we don't have.
Could you consider moving to 2.16?
One workaround is to:
- not use openhpiclient.conf at all, remove it.
- set env variables OPENHPI_DAEMON_HOST and OPENHPI_DAEMON_PORT to
address/port of new domain.
- then connect to domain 0
