Hi Arnab, 2.12.0 version is very old. Latest stable version is 2.16.0. Once the daemon is dead or restarted, the existing clients may not work properly. So it is better to restart the clients.
Which plugin you are using? What application you are using to interact with the daemon? Is that an open source application?
