Well, from my point of view it makes sense for AMC and Intelligent RMT
only.
Other subsidiary FRU types are not intelligent.
Surely I may be wrong about it.

IPMI and PICMG specs do not define any way to send commands to
non-intelligent subsidiary FRU.
As for intelligent FRU you have to bridge a command using Send Message
command to its Carrier Board.
