Hello Kevin,

OpenHPI has two main parts: the daemon and the client library.
Current approach is: single daemon represents single HPI domain.
You can configure multiple domains on the client library level (see  
openhpiclient.conf) and
connect to multiple daemons from the single library.

Documentation can be out of date.
