Hi Anusha,
 
glib, and glib-devel are different packages.
Check if you have glib-devel installed.
 
You can check "rpm -qa | grep glib-"

g_debug is glib stuff.
See http://developer.gnome.org/glib/stable/glib-Message-Logging.html
The documentation says it should be available since glib-2.6.

Do you have glib-2.0-devel installed and of what version?
