I agree.  Since there does seem to be interest, is there a way to
include a request for help with these?  I feel bad that people ask, that
we tell them that they are unmaintained, and that the people go away
without any further consideration.

The project, as a whole, only develops and thrives when people
contribute to different areas.  If there is interest in an area and
people contribute, that area will do well.  Areas where there is no
interest will die.

I'm suggesting that we indicate that these are unmaintained and likely
out of date, but that we would welcome someone who wants to work on that
situation and change it.  Maybe some of the people who are inquiring
will see the value in one of these pieces and decide to contribute to
it.
