Hi Santosh, Regarding the first issue, The Gen8 iLO was tested on RHEL 5.6 with good results, this is something new; I need to check this up on RHEL 6.1.
With regards to the second error: The openhpid is not able to establish a ssl connection with the Gen8 iLO. May be the port specified is wrong or the iLO is not accessible. Can you confirm? You should have received additional error messages(/var/log/messages) regarding the ssl connection status if -v option is specified in commandline.
