Since we are heavily testing 3.2.0 and have no free minute,
I'd like to discuss possible lines of development for OpenHPI.
Below is my current list of ideas.

Security (Mohan's idea):
- Protect data in openhpi.conf
- Protected communication channel between client and daemon

Evaluate existing plug-ins:
- What plug-ins are abandoned
- What plug-ins are needed
- What new features needed in the existing plug-ins
- What bugs shall be fixes in the existing plug-ins

New plug-ins:
- Udev plug-in. With udev you can get current system devices (for example
temp sensors, hard drives ...)
- Virtualization plug-in. Libvirt provides interface for managing Xen,
VmWare, VirtualBox... configurations
- Other new plug-in ideas

Collection of small code examples for routine HPI stuff to help HPI
developers:
- Such as opening/closing session, getting resource list, getting sensor
list.
- ...

More on for OpenHPI client lib for different languages:
- Currently I am thinking about OpenHPI Erlang lib.
- Other languages

GUI:
- Implement more functionality in hpibrowser.
- Other GUI apps?

Mobile:
- client apps for Android, iOS, WinPhone
