Hi Naveen,

In case of threshold sensors(category as "SAHPI_EC_THRESHOLD") there are six
different types of sensor's readings. Those different types are Lower Critical
Threshold, Lower Major Threshold, Lower Minor Threshold, Upper critical
Threshold, Upper major Threshold and Upper minor Threshold.

When the sensor's current reading value is more than(or equal to) the Upper
major Threshold value and less than the Upper critical Threshold value, then
the senor event state will be "SAHPI_ES_UPPER_MAJOR".

Thanks!
Praveen

Subject: [Openhpi-devel] Reg. sensor event information

Hi,

I am observing the below events continuously:

SensorEventCategoty=1, SensorEventState=16, Sensor=PEMB1_Current
SensorEventCategoty=1, SensorEventState=16, Sensor=PEMB1_Voltage

Where category is "SAHPI_EC_THRESHOLD" and event state is
"SAHPI_ES_UPPER_MAJOR".

So in case of threshold sensor events, what does upper major event state
indicates?

Regards
Naveen S
