Hello All, Yesterday I had updated a defect with some information. A mail was sent from the defect to openhpi:bugs mailing list. The subject was
[openhpi:bugs] #1783 Need a backport patch for 3.2.x from trunk There are couple of problems. 1. The original bug number was 3613464 which is far different from the number 1783. The recent upgrade at sourceforge might have changed this. 2. Checked out the source from the old repository using svn co https://openhpi.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openhpi/openhpi/trunk openhpi_trunk_latest_old Checked out the source from the new repository using svn checkout --username=dr_mohan svn +ssh://[email protected]/p/openhpi/code/openhpi/trunk openhpi_trunk_latest_new Checking out from the new repository was much much faster than the checkout from old repository (something like 8 seconds compared to more than a minute from old) 3. Compared all the files in the checkout. All the source code files are same which is good. There was a different in a db file. 1146880 Jun 4 16:21 openhpi_trunk_latest_new/.svn/wc.db 1461248 Jun 4 16:23 openhpi_trunk_latest_old/.svn/wc.db I do not know why there is a difference, but it might be ok. 4. Received a mail from sourceforge (guess all developers must have received the same) asking to perform a step to change SVN to point to the new repo. svn relocate <new-repo-url> or svn switch --relocate <old-repo-url> <new-repo-url> Did anybody do it?
