DAT is based on a enumerate and request instead of a callback-based client interface. That means a client that wants to support hot plugged devices needs to poll the registry. It also means it needs to provide an awkward in-kernel enumeration inerface. > Keep in mind that loading/unloading DAT Provider is *not* > synonymous with loading/unloading drivers. But long term there should be no separate DAT provider, but the functionality now covered by kDAP should be converged into a general RDMA provider. _______________________________________________ openib-general mailing list [email protected] http://openib.org/mailman/listinfo/openib-general To unsubscribe, please visit http://openib.org/mailman/listinfo/openib-general
