It sounds like you just want to use the OpenIB support that is part of the downloaded kernel. Correct? If so, just rebuild the kernel. In the config phase, specify "InfiniBand support" under "Device Drivers". You will need "Mellanox HCA support", and "IP-over-InfiniBand support". If you alias ib0 and ib1 to ib_ipoib in the /etc/modprobe.conf, and configure the ib0 and ib1 interfaces, the drivers should load at boottime (assuming you have a Mellanox HCA). If you want the latest OpenIB support, then you want to do what Robert Walsh suggested, and replace the drivers/infiniband tree in the 2.6.12 source with the latest gen2/trunk/src/linux-kernel/infiniband downloaded from svn. -- Bill Jordan SilverStorm Technologies _______________________________________________ openib-general mailing list [email protected] http://openib.org/mailman/listinfo/openib-general To unsubscribe, please visit http://openib.org/mailman/listinfo/openib-general
