It seems to be happening at line 479 of arping.c:

        memset(he.sll_addr, -1, he.sll_halen);

where he.sll_addr is 8 big, he.sll_halen is 20

So, yeah.

BTW, FC4 compiles with -Wp,-D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 so it is now catching it.

Should struct sockaddr_ll be modified in include/linux/if_packet.h to
accommodate larger addresses?
