I think if we really need these new methods, then they might as well
be in the rdma_device structure.

I think it's important for us to understand whether this is an
Amasso-specific interface or something that will work in the general
case. Perhaps someone from Broadcom and/or NetEffect (or some other
vendor) can comment?
