Looking at the code that is in the contrib branch, it looks like RDS uses connected channels, Is that correct ? If so, I do not see that it provides any value over SDP. If it indeed were using datagrams over IB, then I see that it might provide for better scaling than SDP, since with very large numbers of connections, memory usage becomes an issue, but as it is currently coded, I don't see the point.
