By the way, wouldnt it be nice to be able to add extra parameters to verbs without bumping the uverbs ABI? What I had in mind is: lets pad all resp and cmd structures in userspace (but not in kernel) with some 0-initialized extra space at the tail. The time to do it would be now before we bump the ABI.
