Find the LIDs of the switches with ibnetdiscover and then use smpquery
portinfo <lid> <port num> to see what LinkWidthActive says.
You would lose multicast connectivity if some ports were 1x and others
were 4x so this is a good thing to check.

Yes, I have those built, just forgot about the smpquery. I'll let you
