[openib-general] Want to learn more about the FMR

It is said in "Zero Copy Sockets Direct Protocol over InfiniBand - Preliminary Implementation and Performance Analysis" that the FMR is a Mellanox feature extending the 1.1 InfiniBand specification, and a similar feature was added later on to the 1.2 InfiniBand specification. But I have got nothing about the FMR in "InfiniBand™ Architecture Specification Release 1.2" (http://www.infinibandta.org/specs/register/publicspec/).
I read the description of FMR related verbs in "Mellanox IB-Verbs API (VAPI) 1.00, however I am not very clear of the difference between FMR registering and common registering. Is there a description of more details?
