Here is one complaint I have. 

OFED just announced today of their existence and now plans to have a release
on May 1 ?
only 2 weeks away, after appearently working behind closed doors for
sometime. 
There was no discussion on the openib-general list of what should and should
not be included. 
This is not the way that open source projects are suppose to work. 
And a May 1 release date does not give the wider community much time 
to test it with their software or products and feedback changes. 
Seems like a rather closed process to me.
