My original plan was that the sockaddr's should eventually be cast to the correct structure based on the sa_family type. But I don't think that this will be sufficient to handle all cases. Adding a pointer to set of functions, or adding a set of function pointers to the rdma_cm_id may be the correct solution when IPv6 is fully supported.
