I think camps may be a bit strong.

Unless some people are only willing to accept exactly the "openID connect" 
proposal.

We will have a WG shortly to work on the next version of the core protocol.  
Some of what we have done for AB may or may not get reused as part of that.

I am willing to follow the process,  that is part of what one agrees to in 
joining a democratic standards organization.

If there are people with other agendas they will have to make there own 
decisions.
