I am beginning to believe that we need get the browser vendors to the OpenID community.
Useful if we're willing to abandon backward-compatibility and insist that everyone using OpenID have a "modern browser" (i.e., developed subsequently to OpenID *specifically to SUPPORT it*), but if we weren't interested in the broadest base of compatible software, why *wouldn't* we go with Weave or some other independent (even non-browser!) application that was developed from the ground up to support "identity"?
