Yes, you can use what is already in the browser. Use 
http://esw.w3.org/Foaf%2Bssl

But, I know you will ignore this, just as the posts I sent here intermittently 
for the past 2 years. And so you will continue to work in vain solving a 
problem that does not need solving.

I am just sending this here for future archival reasons, because I don't expect 
much in terms of response to this.
