There is a wiki entry to install recent virtualbox.

You may need the vboxconfig.sh patch.
Virtualbox ships its own QT5 environment with the software so that it
does not break because of the installed version.

I've heard that recent versions of Vbox (above 5.0.X) are based on qt5
Should we be able to install recent versions of Vbox from the VBox web
pages, provided we have qt5 installed?
