G'day,
Finally getting around to trying to install the Hipster 201905 release
on a box that we managed to get a build of 201811 running on late last
year (thank you Aurelien!).
I used both the OsoLiveUSB and win32diskImager tools, onto a 4GB USB
stick, but it gets stuck after booting at the
boot:
prompt, copied as follows :
BIOS drive C: is disk0
|
Can't find /boot/loader
Can't find /boot/xfsloader
illumos/x86 boot
Default: disk-1:/boot/loader
boot:
This is with the OI-Hipster-gui-20190511.usb file - same thing happens
with the text image. I don't know enough about grub to know what to do
next, any clues? I have no other drives connected, but it does boot up
OI Hipster from last year using the same BIOS settings from an existing
drive that we installed onto last year
