How? I find no trace of lp, lpd, lpr etc. I have a Brother MFC7360N on a
wired ethernet connection.
I've selected a generic postscript printer with the Print Manager but Print
Test pages are all blank. Print Self-Test doesn't do anything.
I just want to send a small Postcript file example from the command line using
a2ps(1)

Good Morning!
i found that there is a daemon delivered with cups:
$ pkg search -r cups-lpd
INDEX ACTION VALUE PACKAGE
basename file usr/lib/cups/daemon/cups-lpd
pkg:/print/[email protected]
but there are no lp* commands or devices - on my system... :-/
Maybe you could do that with netcat copying the files directly to the
socket (maybe 9100) ?
Some printers have a ftp and/or smb feature you can copy fils to the
printer.
Regards,
Stephan
