Hi! I'm in a far remote region from where the major FOSS events happen - Uruguay, and also relatively new to the country itself. Gradually, I get to know the local FOSS community, connect to its members and, in parts, to introduce them and to keep them informed about the aspects of the FOSS beyond Linux.
In that light, I plan to participate in on of the annual FOSS events in the Latin America - FLISoL [1][2], specifically in the Uruguayan branch [3]. None: It's not an installfest specifically, rather a broader even due to the scale of... everything. I looked over the OI website [4] and I see that there is not much of media to help represent OpenIndiana project or the Association (OIDA) in printable form, besides the logos. So, question to those who presented anything at FOSDEM or other events: do we have other materials which could be used to attract visitors attention to a table / banner at the event? Sidenote: even if nothing exists for above, it'd be nice to collect links about your work, all your public talks, in one place on the project's web site to be pointed at. 1: https://flisol.info (in Spanish) 2: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festival_Latinoamericano_de_Instalaci%C3%B3n_de_Software_Libre (in Spanish) 3: https://wiki.flisol.uy (in Spanish) 4: https://openindiana.org
