Hi,
i have a Intel SE7520JR2 Motherboard running Linux fedora core 4
with 2.6.12.5 kernel. i have applied the following ipmi patches to the
kernel in the same order.

1. linux-i2c-2.6.12-i801-nonblock.diff
2. linux-i2c-2.6.12-nonblock.diff
3. linux-ipmi-2.6.12-base.diff
4. linux-ipmi-2.6.12-emu.diff
5. linux-ipmi-2.6.12-smb.diff

I use Ipmitool to monitor sensor readings. So my monitoring
application executed Ipmitool every 2 minutes to get sensor readings.

I found the following:

1. For some instances Ipmitool reports sensor reading as "disabled"
instead of actual reading.

can this be corrected ?

2. I found that following message is continuously logged to syslog

"i801_smbus 0000:00:1f.3: Reset failed! (01)"

What does this message mean ? is it safe to ignore this message?

It would be grateful if anyone could provide information on the above
and how to fix them.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Sangamesh.M
